The aftermath of the fire is visible just inside the entrance to the Cocoanut Grove nightclub.
Broken Furniture

Broken tables and chairs are piled up at the west end of Cocoanut Grove's main dining room. The furniture previously was located around the outer edges of the dance floor in the center of the room.
The Point of Origin

The Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire started in the northwest corner of the Melody Lounge.
