Double Tree Housekeepers Strike, Rally Attracts Thousands

Outside the Science Center on Thursday, November 20, Double Tree housekeepers, student advocates, and union representatives protested working conditions at the hotel, which is operated by Hilton but located in a Harvard-owned building. Hundreds attended the protest, which was organized by the Harvard Student Labor Action Movement and UNITE HERE! Local 26, the labor union that represents Harvard's dining hall workers.
