College students will not be allowed to bring guests to this year’s Yardfest — a spring music festival held annually in Harvard Yard — according to an email sent to undergraduates Monday by the Dean of Students Office.

A small gathering of demonstrators honored former Rio de Janeiro City Council member and activist Marielle Franco during a remembrance event and seminar held Tuesday. Tuesday’s events, called “The Other Side of Violence: Marielle Franco and the Struggle for Brazilian Democracy,” commemorated the one-year anniversary of her assassination in March 2018.


Harvard Police Investigates AirPods Robbery in the Yard

The Harvard University Police Department is investigating a male Harvard undergraduate’s allegation that he was robbed of his Apple AirPods in Harvard Yard on Sunday, HUPD spokesperson Steven G. Catalano wrote in an email to Harvard affiliates Monday.


Harvard Finishes Eight-Month Renovation of Robinson Hall

The University has finished an eight-month renovation of Robinson Hall, one of the last buildings in Harvard Yard that was not wheelchair accessible. The construction project added an elevator, modernized offices and classrooms in the building, and relocated the bathrooms.
