HBV Plushy Workshop - Students diligently stitch together hepatitis B virus plushys at Ticknor lounge on Monday night. Sophomore Rhed Shi, a member of Team HBV, notes the surprising fact that “the first anticancer vaccine was for HBV, yet even now it affects one in ten Asian Americans.” They hope to raise awareness for this preventable viral infection of the liver often transmitted at birth.
