Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
March 5
10:08 a.m.—Harvard University Police Department officers investigated a report of a vehicle on fire at the Science Center. When officers arrived on the scene, the Cambridge Fire Department had determined that the brakes of the vehicle in question were smoking but not on fire.
3:10 p.m.—Officers were sent to investigate a report of individuals jumping on skateboards and bicycles in the courtyard of 677 Huntington Ave. Interviews were conducted and the individuals were issued trespass warnings for all Harvard property.
March 6
10:21 a.m.—Police received a report of a suspicious package leaning on a gate at Shad Hall in Allston. Officers investigated the package and found it contained trash.
March 7
4:52 p.m.—Officers received a report of a barefoot individual yelling in Sever Hall. Officers searched for but did not locate the individual.
5:36 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to investigate a red foil box with balloons tied to it at Boylston Gate. The case was turned over to the Cambridge Police Department for further investigation.
March 9
5:18 a.m.—Officers responded to a report of an individual trying to break into a Holyoke Street restaurant. The individual claimed they thought the restaurant was open. The officers sent the individual on his or her way.
March 10
7:55 p.m.—Officers saw two individuals behaving suspiciously at Au Bon Pain. The individuals were run for outstanding warrants and Miriam Rodriguez, 22, was placed under arrest.
March 11
12:12 p.m.—An individual was seen sleeping on a concrete wall near Gund Hall. He or she was issued a trespass warning and was sent on his or her way.
March 12
11:28 a.m.—Officers responded to a report of an individual screaming in William James Hall. Officers arrested Philip Macleod, 62, for trespassing.
7:22 p.m.—An individual in Lamont Library refused to have their backpack checked at the door. Officers spoke with the individual and calmed the situation.
March 15
12:57 a.m.—Officers noticed two individuals behaving strangely near a motor scooter at the corner of Harvard St. and Prescott St. The officers sent the individuals on his or her way.
March 16
12:16 a.m.—Officers observed two individuals in a verbal argument at Pforzheimer House. One of the individuals claimed he wanted an entry fee returned. Officers told the individual that entry fees were not refundable; the individual became angry and raised his or her arms and began yelling.
The individual grabbed an officer’s arm and continued yelling. The officers instructed the individual to cease yelling; the individual complied, apologized, and was sent on his way.
