Knock, Knock. Who’s There?

Friday, August 4, 12:06 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a report of an individual attempting to gain access to 20 Fernald Drive by continuously ringing the doorbell. Officers arrived on location and spoke with the reporting party but could not locate the ringer.

Reunion on Prescott Street

Friday, August 4, 1:13 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to Greenough Hall North to a report of an individual who had been attempting to locate another individual for several hours. Officers arrived, and while they were questioning the individual, the missing individual arrived safely, stating they were unreachable due to problems with their cellular telephone.

Time To Get a Watch?

Friday, August 4, 1:37 a.m.: Officers took a report of an individual who had been approached by an unknown individual with a knife at the Office of the Registrar. The reporting individual said they were approached by the unknown individual, who asked for the time. After they stated that they didn’t know the time, the individual with the knife asked for directions. At this point, the reporting individual noticed the unknown individual moving closer to them and identified in their possession a six inch long knife. At this point, the reporting individual fled the area.

False Alarm

Friday, August 4, 3:10 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the University Operations Services to a report that a building had lights on, but wasn’t supposed to at that hour. Officers arrived and searched the location and reported that all was in order.

Lost Mongoose

Sunday, August 6, 4:15 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to a report that a yellow Mongoose mountain bicycle, valued at $300, was stolen. No suspicious individuals were found at the scene of the theft.

Plumber Needed

Sunday, August 6, 11:31 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a report that a bathroom in a building on Longwood Ave was flooded with water.

Leave Me Alone!

Tuesday, August 8, 8:11 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to Au Bon Pain to a report of an individual who had locked themselves in the bathroom. Officers spoke with the individual and reported that all was in order.

Shady Business

Wednesday, August 9, 1:01 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to a report of an individual wandering around in the Spangler Center. Officers located the individual, who said they were looking for a specific department. However, after informing the individual that they were in the wrong building and telling them where the correct location was, the individual persisted in their search in the wrong building, becoming very agitated. Officers requested identification, which the individual refused to provide, compelling officers to issue the individual a trespass warning for all Harvard property.
