Sept. 30:

3:42 a.m.—Complaints regarding a collapsing ceiling and leaking water sent Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officers to Cabot House.

11:16 p.m.—Officers reported to the Palace Road Lot in response to two individuals who were allegedly spray-painting the lot. Police were unable to find any graffiti in the area, although it was determined that the two individuals had turned on the sprinklers.

Oct. 1:

12:13 p.m.—Police investigated a chair which had been reportedly removed from Grays Hall East. The search for the meandering chair proved unsuccessful.

11:44 p.m.—An officer responded to Vanderbilt Hall, room 337, on account of a loud party, in which its occupants were incessantly pushing emergency buttons. Police arrived but all had quieted down.

Oct. 2:

12:58 a.m.—An officer observed a drove of students waiting for the shuttle bus outside of Cabot. The officer provided taxicabs and cruiser escorts for the stranded.

10:22 p.m.—Police observed an altercation between two individuals in Au Bon Pain at 1360 Mass. Ave. The two people engaged in the scuffle were checked for wants or warrants, which resulted in the arrest of Bernadette Payne, 24, of East Boston, Mass. for having an outstanding warrant.

Oct. 3:

4:42 a.m.—An officer investigated the theft of contents left inside of a motor vehicle at the Hingham Street Lot. The stolen items are valued at $459.

8:08 p.m.—Police were notified that one of the side doors leading to the Blodgett Pool cannot be locked. Officers will conduct repeated checks of the area in response.

9:52 p.m.—An individual was removed from the Biology Labs on 16 Divinity Ave. for acting suspiciously. The individual was issued a no-trespass warning for all of Harvard property, although a search for wants or warrants garnered no results.

Oct. 4:

9:52 a.m.—Both HUPD and Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers descended upon 1 Eliot St. to investigate a packaged deemed suspicious. Police determined the package posed no threat.

3:25 p.m.—A report of a suspicious letter sent an officer to 124 Mt. Auburn St. to investigate. The otherwise inconspicuous letter was confiscated and a report was filed.

6:29 p.m.—An officer responded to Cabot House because of a report concerning camera crews and television reporters in the area. The responding officer determined the roaming journalists did not have permission to film and subsequently sent them away.

Oct. 5:

8:01 p.m.—An officer was alerted about an individual in the area of Leverett House Dining Hall with an active, outstanding warrant. Rodley Toussaint, 22, of Malden, Mass. was then arrested by police.

Oct. 6:

7:11 a.m.—An officer reported to the Center for Astrophysics in response to wires that were reportedly burning inside of the building. Police arrived, along with engineering officials, and the matter was controlled.

11:54 a.m.—An officer was sent to Armenise Building One on 220 Longwood Ave. to investigate the theft of five Pipetman syringes valued collectively at $1,000.
