Crimson Announces New Leadership

By The Crimson Staff, Crimson Staff Writer

The Harvard Crimson selected its new leadership Friday, appointing 87 undergraduates to the next executive board.

William C. Marra ’07, of Queens, New York and Currier House, will serve as president of the 133rd guard of The Crimson, beginning next semester. Two years ago, the three top positions on the paper were held by women and the past year’s president was a woman as well. This year, Marra and two other men from the New York area will lead the newspaper.

Marra will be the first president to hail from the Radcliffe Quadrangle in recent memory.

Zachary M. Seward ’07, of Scarsdale, New York and Lowell House, will serve as managing editor.

Nicholas A. Molina ’07, of Jersey City, New Jersey and Lowell House, will serve as business manager.

“I am thrilled about the phenomenal new leadership of The Crimson,” current Crimson President Lauren A. E. Schuker ’06 said. “The 133rd guard is a talented, enthusiastic group of undergraduates who will lead with integrity and leave a legacy of greatness at the newspaper.”

Associate Managing Editors May Habib ’07 and Daniel J. Hemel ’07 will lead the News Board; Molina will lead the Business Board; Kristina M. Moore ’08 will lead the Arts Board; David I. Paltiel ’07 and Allen J. Pope ’08 will lead the Design Board; Matthew S. Meisel ’07 and Michael B. Broukhim ’07 will lead the Editorial Board; Stephen M. Fee ’07 and A. Haven Thompson ’07 will lead The Crimson’s weekend magazine, Fifteen Minutes; Jonathan Tsao ’08 and Albert Wu ’07 will lead the Information Technology Board; Joseph L. Abel ’07 and Ravi P. Ramchandani ’07 will lead the Photo Board; and Alex McPhillips ’07 and Gabriel M. Velez ’07 will lead the Sports Board. Rosa M. Norton ’08 will serve as The Crimson’s Director of Public Service.
