The Harvard Humanitarian Initiative will host this open series of discussions. Panelists from the Harvard faculty will discuss humanitarianism, FEMA, disaster relief, and human rights. Friday, September 30, noon-4:00 p.m. in Longfellow Hall, 13 Appian Way.
*SOUTHERN COMFORT: A KATRINA BENEFIT DINNER*
Harvard Hillel, HUDS, the Southern Society, the Texas Club, and Kuumba are hosting this event. Enjoy southern-style grub and Kuumba performances while playing fundraising games. Cash donations will be accepted. All proceeds will benefit the NAACP Disaster Relief Fund, and will be matched by Harvard College. Thursday, September 29, 5:00-7:30 p.m. in Hillel, across from Tommy’s on Mt. Auburn St.
