The following events were reported in the Cambridge Police Department blotter in the last week.

Oct. 3

A Boston resident reported that he was assaulted by two men at 1:30 a.m. while at 1226 Mass. Ave.

At 4:15 a.m. a Brattle Street resident stated that while she was walking in the area of 195 Brattle St. at approximately 2:15 a.m. she noticed a gray Honda occupied by two white males following her. One of the males spoke to her, and she continued to walk. One of the males then exited the car and grabbed her by the coat. The victim broke free and fled as the suspect reentered the car and fled.

Oct. 4

A resident of Alpine St. reports that an unknown person stole her purse from the Hong Kong restaurant. She later found her purse, missing $400 cash, in the women's restroom trash can.

Oct. 5

At 7:25 p.m. a Hubbard Avenue juvenile reported being punched and robbed of $3.00 cash and a lighter while walking on Walker Street near Linnaean.

Oct. 6

At 4:22 p.m. a male was arrested on a warrant in Harvard Square.

The owner of a Mt. Auburn Street store reported that between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 3 two males entered his store and removed a box containing 80 CD's.

An employee of Target Analysis on Mass. Ave. reported that at 11:00 a.m. someone called him at work and said there was a bomb in the building and that he should exit the building.
