April 25
At 5:29 p.m. the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) received a call from Holyoke security saying that a homeless person had come to their desk in Holyoke Center. Due to his level of intoxication, they were unable to determine what he wanted. The homeless man was helped by the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) before HUPD arrived.
HUPD also received report of a black male in his 40s trying to open doors in Adams House. The man was wearing a blue baseball hat and a green puffy jacket.
Also on April 25, a Boston resident reported to the CPD that after she spent the night at a man's house, he began punching her in the head and pulled her out of the house.
April 26
At 12:03 p.m. in Kresge Dining Hall at Harvard Business School, security called HUPD because there was a dog on the loose in the dining area. The dog's owner could not be located.
A Peabody resident reported to the CPD that he had an argument with another party. The suspect attacked the victim from behind, and threw him down a flight of stairs. The suspect then said to the victim "if the cops [interfere] they will catch a bullet and you'll get the next one." The suspect was later arrested.
April 27
At 10:18 p.m. in Dunster House, HUPD found a person who was in possession of marijuana. The suspect will appear in court to answer for the charges.
At 3:57 a.m. HUPD received a report that someone was trying to climb into a window of Adams House. A check of the area proved negative.
April 29
CPD reported that two Cambridge men were found smoking marijuana at 3:30 p.m. in Sennot Park. The two men were arrested.
At 10:24 p.m. HUPD conducted a field interview on a subject who was found urinating in public view. The subject was released with an advisory.
May 1
CPD arrested a juvenile at the Burger King located at 502 Mass. Ave after a disturbance with the manager. The youth was asked to leave by a female employee. He refused and threw a cup of ice water on her. She then came out from behind the counter, at which point the youth punched her in the face and ripped a pierced earring out of her ear. The two were separated and as she was walking back behind the counter he threw a metal straw dispenser at her, hitting her in the shoulder. She was taken to Cambridge City Hospital and was treated for a shoulder contusion and a swollen eye.
At 9:28 p.m. a resident of Watson Street, Cambridge, reported to CPD that she had been approached by two black males while exiting her car. One of the suspects pulled a knife and took her keys and demanded that she get in the back of the car. She was able to flee the scene towards her house.
May 2
A Cambridge resident reported to CPD that she received a threatening letter that stated that she should watch her back and that she was "going to get it" when she got off the bus. She said she thinks that her brother's ex-girlfriend wrote the letter.
Four men reported to CPD that while they were partying next to the railroad tracks behind Dodge Chemical near Alewife, they were approached by a group of black and Hispanic males.
One of the Hispanic males drew a silver semi-automatic shotgun and pointed it at the group at which point they fled the area.
