On Sunday night the Harvard Entrepreneurs Club announced its new board members and its plans for the upcoming year in an e-mail message to the group.
Assuming their new positions were Ngina Duckett '00, president; Andrew S. Chung '01, director; Griselle M. Soto '01, director; Greg Y. Tseng '00, director; Richard M. Powell '01, vice president for finance; Andrew Steinau '01, assistant vice president for finance; Natalie M Carnes '02, vice president for seminars; Joshua Glassman '00, vice president for activities; Pranav Anand '01, vice president for marketing; and Jared S. Wasserman '02, assistant vice president for marketing.
The outgoing officers named the new officers on March 3.
The message also outlined the club's activities for the upcoming year.
In the next few weeks, the club will launch a publicity campaign for the recently published book The Harvard Entrepreneurs Club's Guide to Starting Your Own Business, co-written by Duckett, Tseng and four other club members.
Poonam Sharma '99, a director from last year's board and the editor of the book, will hold a book signing at the Coop on April 18.
On October 23, the club will host a conference entitled "Shaping the New Millennium: Growing a Great Business in the Next Century."
The club is planning to publish the first issue of a bimonthly newsletter shortly, but is still looking for staff writers and a production manager. The newsletter will be delivered to all undergraduates and to some other colleges and businesses nationwide.
An overhaul of the club's Web site is planned for spring break. The updated page will include an international networking service and an information page for the October conference. The address of the Web site is www.clubhec.org.
The board holds open meetings every Sunday in Loker Commons from 7 to 9 p.m.
