Apr. 9
Security officials at the Galleria Mall reported that their video recorded tow men stealing five to ten cases of prosciutto from a delivery van at the loading dock. The theft occurred at 7:35 a.m., and the stolen food was estimated to be worth $750.
A resident of Cambridge Court reported that she has been receiving 20 prank phone calls per day for the last two years. She said most of the callers have been children.
An Au Bon Pain manager reported that on Apr. 7 a routine search turned up 17 bottles of Fresh Samantha, worth $3 each, in the possession of a departing employee. The items were returned to the restaurant, and the worker was fired.

At 3:30 p.m., two female juveniles were arrested at the Hong Kong Restaurant n Mass. Ave. and charged with larceny for check forgery.

A bartender at Shay's Beer and Wine reported that while he was working on Apr. 10 he served a 26-year-old white man named "Jim" who said he had just arrived from Los Angeles to kill a Cambridge woman from whom he had contracted H.I.V.
Apr. 13
An employee at the Galleria Mall reported at 5:05 p.m. that 246 $2 scratch tickets were stolen from her store.
