Council Election Programming Was a Team Effort

I was pleased to see your article today on the on-line Undergraduate Council elections currently underway. However, I was disappointed that the article implied that I was the only person who worked on the program. This is most definitely not the case. My primary role in this project was to coordinate between the HCS's programming team and the Undergraduate Council. In this role, I ended up being the one contacted by The Crimson for quotes and who got to work with the Election Commission to configure the program for the elections.

Though I did write some of the code in the program, the bulk of it was written by the other members of our voting team--Robert A. Eikel '97, Susan M. Groppi '98, Ken E. Miller '98 and Ken Shan '99. Without their dedication as evidenced by long hours and many late nights, we would never have had such an easy-to-use, highly configurable program. --Robert J. Klein '98
