Two of the best high school hockey players in the nation have verbelly committed to attend Harvard in the fall.

They are Mike Bent, from Noble & Greenough, and Craig MacDonald, from Lawrence Academy.

Bent has garnered 80 goals in 75 games, was All-Scholastic and was also last year's ISI. Player of the year.

MacDonald, meanwhile, turned down full scholarships from B.U., B.C. and Michigan State.

Both players were early admissions.

Women's Lacrosse Rankings Out

In the College Sports poll, the Harvard women's lacrosse team was ranked No.8 in the nation.

The Crimson, who was 11-4 last season and lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament, gamered 33 points in the poll.

Ivy League rivals Princeton and Dartmouth are ranked ahead of Harvard at Nos.1 and 4, respectively. Eric F. Brown
