In the Feb. 5 "Dartboard" column The Crimson noted the decline of "American quality control," recounting that a technician sent to repair the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" pinball game in one of the houses left his miniature screwdriver behind in the game.

If The Crimson is so concerned about quality control, perhaps it should start with its own editorial staff. There is no character on the series named "Deanna Troy"; there is, however, a character named "Deanna Troi."

There is no character on the series named "Jordi"; there is, however, a character named "Geordi La Forge."
