It's deja vu all over again.
For the second straight year, the national championship in men's squash came down to the last game in the final match, and for the second straight year, the Harvard men's squash team defeated Yale for the national title.
The Crimson took the championship with a thrilling 5-4 victory last night in New Haven, as Tal Ben-Shachar won his match in dramatic fashion.
The overall score was tied at 4-4, leaving Ben-Shacher's match as the only one still in progress.
Ben-Shachar and his Eli opponent battled practically point-for-point, with Ben-Shachar coming on top, 18-17, in the fifth game.
The boisterous crowd tried its best to rattle Ben-Shachar, but he was able to block them out to give Harvard the crown.
Last year, Michael Oh propelled the Crimson to the national title with his five-game win against a Yale opponent, also coming with the overall score tied at four.
