Believe him or fear him, you have to at least admire G. Brent McGuire '95's guts. The Peninsula Council member has proudly taken on the mantle as this year's voice of God. Debating before a largely unfriendly audience of more than 100 students, the arch-conservative spoke of the inherent intellectual superiorities of men over women and whites over Blacks.

McGuire defended America's proud tradition of bigotry that dates back past Lincoln and Jefferson to Socrates. But despite the rancorous debate, McGuire did not lose his sense of humor. When asked how the moral Brent felt that one of his heroes, Socrates, was a bi-sexual, he replied, "Yeah, I'd do him."
