Intruder Steals $250 From Quincy House Dorm

By Allen C. Soong

A Quincy House resident discovered an intruder in his third-floor suite last Saturday afternoon. The intruder ultimately escaped with approximately $250.

Speaking on the condition on anonymity, the student, who discovered the theft, said that when he walked into the room he noticed someone hiding behind the door.

After the suspect exited the room and began running down the hallway, the student set off in pursuit. He and two of his roommates attempted to apprehend the suspect on Plympton Street, but the man escaped in a maroon and gray Chevrolet Caprice.

The student said that he and his roommates usually leave the door unlocked, but "not anymore."

The intruder, described as a heavy-set white male about 5'10" tall and 250 lbs. is still at large.
