To the Editors of the What Is To Be Done:

I write to clarify a quotation attributed to me in an article that appeared in the November 1, 1990 issue of the What, "When is a Center not a Center?" I was cited as saying Harvard was not contributing any money to the Lyman Common Room. In fact, there was a substantial contribution made. My intent was to make it clear that Harvard cannot be released from its financial responsibility to provide for the different needs of almost half its undergraduates. A donation to Radcliffe is, while appreciated, insufficient. Co-president, Radcliffe Union of Students
