To the Editors of the Crimson:
Jeffrey C. Olkin '90 is quoted as saying in a Snapshot about me in the October 15 Crimson, that I wrote a letter to Baskin-Robbins complaining that they would not let me have several free samples. I rarely ask for samples, and definitely not more than one.
I did, however, write a friendly letter to Baskin-Robbins regarding another matter. A friend mentioned that she knew someone spending time in Ecuador who missed Pralines 'n Cream. I wrote to Baskin-Robbins asking how one would get some of this flavor to Ecuador. They sent me an informative letter in return, and they did include a coupon for a free cone. And my friend sent some ice cream to Ecuador. Andrew T. Starr '91-'93
