The Harvard men's cross country team opened its season yesterday afternoon in a wind-swept quandrangular meet in New York.

The wind wasn't the only one sweeping. The Crimson (3-0) won all its three races, defeating Columbia, Cornell and Penn.

The Crimson outlasted the Lions, 16-45, edged out the Quakers, 25-30, and wiped out the Big Red, 15-50.

Junior Robert Benjamin was the top Harvard finisher, placing third overall with a time of 26:59.
