What each team must do for Harvard to earn a share of the Ivy League championship.
Harvard (1-3 Ivy): The Crimson must win all its remaining league games; Brown (October 29), at Penn (November 12) and Yale (November 19).
Penn (4-0 Ivy): The Quakers must lose all their remaining Ivy games; at Princeton (October 29), Harvard (November 12) and at Cornell (November 19).
Princeton (3-1 Ivy): The Tigers must beat Penn and lose to Yale and Dartmouth; Penn (October 29), at Yale (November 12) and Dartmouth (November 19).
Cornell (3-1 Ivy): The Big Red must beat Penn and lose to Yale and Columbia; Yale (November 5), at Columbia (November 12) and Penn (November 19).
Yale (1-1-1 Ivy): The Elis must lose to Harvard and Dartmouth and beat Cornell and Princeton; Dartmouth (October 29), at Cornell (November 5), Princeton (November 12) and at Harvard (November 19).
Dartmouth (1-2 Ivy): The Big Green must defeat Yale and Princeton and lose to either Columbia or Brown; at Yale (October 29), Columbia (November 5), at Brown (November 12) and at Princeton (November 19).
Columbia (1-3 Ivy): The Lions must defeat Dartmouth and Cornell; at Dartmouth (November 5), Cornell (November 12) and Brown (November 19).
Brown (0-3-1 Ivy): The Bruins must lose to Harvard and defeat Dartmouth; at Harvard (October 29), Dartmouth (November 12) and at Columbia (November 19).
If this scenario follows, Harvard would tie for the Ivy title with Penn, Princeton and Cornell. Dartmouth would earn a share of the title if it beats either Columbia or Brown. Columbia would earn a share of the title if it beats Brown.
Note: no team has ever won the Ivy title with a 4-3 record.
