Harvard women's basketball Co-Captain Nancy Boutilier and junior Wendy Joseph have garnered All-Ivy honorable mention citations for their strong performances during the women cagers' disappointing 4-21 (2-10 Ivy) season.
Boutilier, a 5-ft., 6-in. guard, sparked the Crimson offense this year, setting a single-season scoring record with 312 points and moving into third on Harvard's all-time scoring roster with a 12.7-points-per-game average.
Joseph is right behind her on that list, having averaged 11.6 ppg during this campaign and setting a single-season record of her own in pulling down 231 rebounds (9.2 per game). The six-foot forward finished second in the league in rebounding, averaging 11.4 per game in the squad's 12 Ivy contests.
The Cherry Hill, N.J. native has also been named a co-captain of the 1984-85 squad. Joining her will be sophomore forward Anna Collins, who was third on the squad in scoring this season (7.6 ppg). The six-foot Livonia, Mich. native was also the Crimson's second-best re-bounder, with 5.8 per game.
