The Harvard women's gymnastics team travelled to New London. Conn., Friday for a tri-meet with Connecticut College and Westfield College. A forfeit by Westfield, however, allowed Harvard's understaffed squad to nab a second place finish. Connecticut throttled the Crimson, 140.45-61.65.
Junior Sally Fagerson placed third on the uneven parallel bars for Harvard, while freshman Lisa Blair and sophomore Lisa Schneider added scores on the floor exercises and beam event.
The Crimson returns to action at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a meet at Salem State College.
