The Harvard men's and women's ski teams both scored strong finishes in their nine-team meets at Mad River Glen, Vt. this weekend, good enough to advance them to the Division II championships next weekend at Syracuse.
The women's cross-country relay team cruised to a first-place finish, while the men's team took fifth: In the individual cross-country events, the men's team finished second overall.
In the Alpine events, Eric Albrecht captured fifth place and captain Jeff Donahue took sixth in the slalom, and both finished eighth and 14th respectively in the giant slalom. In the women's downhill slalom, Missy Dubroff finished 14th and Liz Lightfoot 17th.
