Now without question and for postcrity's sake it's clear a record At least so say Summer School officials who recently confrimed that this session's registration had indeed broken all previous records surpassing the 5000 mark for the first time in the program's 108-year history.

Moreover according to Summer School Director Marshall R. Phill '55 the final enrollment level is currently recorded at 5019.

But while the higher enrollment spells full recovery for the Summer School officials are not prepared to keep on growing. "We don't want to get bigger than that--five thousand is just about our capacity. Phil said recently.

Explaining reports of several weeks ago that contradicted initial calculations of a record breaking season made at June registration Phil said the problem was a simple mistake in counting noses. Who was doing the counting? "A computer program missed a few" the director said.
