The Harvard golf team nipped Brown 385-386 yesterday, bouncing back from a disappointing loss to Boston College last weekend.
Freshman Richard F. Nichols had a team-low 74, as the team upped its record to 7-9.
"We realized that we had to take drastic action after losing to Boston College in the final round of the Greater Boston Tournament," said Crimson co-captain John L. Mosle '83, who chipped in with a 75.
"We all played well at the same time, and we did it without home course advantage," added Chester Nastala. Nastala shot 77.
The match was moved at the last minute from the Crimson home at the Brookline Country Club to the Dedham Country Club.
The linksters cap their season next Tuesday when they face Ivy League champion Dartmouth at home.
