The Corporation yesterday formally approved a $5 million dollar allocation for renovation of Gund Hall, home of the Graduate School of Design.

The money will be used for deferred maintenance, new energy efficiency measures and, possibly, for structural improvements to the building's ground floor classrooms, said Gerald M. McCue, dean of the school McCue added that a study done over a year ago suggested the need for the work, which will commence this spring.

In its usual bi-weekly meeting, the seven member Corporation also discussed the Harvard Management Company's semi-annual review and the Business School's International Business area.
