The Harvard men's rugby team dominated its first three opponents at the Ivy Championships this weekend, but was unable to play the title-deciding game against also-unbeaten Brown after rain left the field too dangerous for play.
The Crimson opened the two-day tournament Saturday with a 20-0 trouncing of Penn and a less convincing 16-4 victory over Princeton. In both contests Harvard played well, exhibiting good ball movement and back play. While the inexperienced Quakers were unable to post more than a semi-conscious threat to the ruggers, the Tigers kept the game tight until late in the game when wing Tim Endicott scored the Crimson's insurance try.
