ATLANTA--Johnny David scored eight points down the stretch including three free throws in the closing seconds as the Atlanta Hawks survived a late Boston Celtics to take a 95 victory last night and deadlock the National basketball Association Eastern Conference miniseries.

Game three in the best-of-three series will be played Sunday in Boston. The winner meets Milwaukee in the next round of the playoffs.
