One hundred years ago today. The Harvard Crimson began its career as a daily. Formerly a weekly paper, The Crimson in 1883 merged with the Harvard Daily Herald to become Cambridge's Only Breakfast Table Daily. To celebrate this historic event, as well as the 491st anniversary of Chris Columbus's visit, we will not publish Monday. Daily papers will resume Tuesday.
