Harvard's Center for Population Studies will host a three-day conference on migrator, that is set to begin tomorrow

The topics discussed at the conference will range from economic reasons for migration to the effects of population changes on the balance of world power. Nicholas Ehberstadt, a visiting fellow at the center who has helped organize the conference, said this week.

Ehberstadt said he expected several papers on racist reactions to immigration will create controversy at the conference He cited as one example a paper to be presented by William Alonso. Saltonstall Professor of Pornlation Policy at the School of Public Health.

Alonso said this week that his paper would explore the effect of American ethnic hostilities on U.S. immigration policy
