A bicyclist was hit by a car Monday morning in front of the Lampoon building on the corner of Linden and Mount Auburn Streets, a Cambridge police spokesman said yesterday. Frank Calogero said that Lynne McGalliard, 25, of Cambridge was making a left turn from Linden Street to Mount Auburn Street when she struck Photina Rec, 21, who of Cambridge. Ree was bicycling along Mount Auburn Street at the time.
McGalliard alleged that her view was obstructed by a parked car as she made her left turn, according to Calogero. He said that it is unclear whether charges will be filed.
Ree was admitted to Cambridge Hospital for facial injuries and then released.
