Students with "the Harvard look" could find themselves casted for a motion picture this week.
Directors Zoe Tamerlis and Yves De Laurot, a two-man production company working out of a van parked on Mass. Ave., yesterday began searching Harvard Square for "unknowns with Harvard faces" for their upcoming movie, "Curfew USA."
The film centers on Aldous Tate, a Harvard student in the 1960s who becomes a media celebrity by haranguing people with his leftist progressive ideology and 20 years later he meets Una Horn, played by Tamerlis, who has travelled to Latin America to distribute food and contraceptives to the poor.
While at Harvard, the directors are looking for students who typify both the 1960s and the 1980s but also would be recognizable to general public as Harvard students. De Laurot said, adding, "We are not looking for guys with ponytails but for people whose faces speak and say Harvard."
The directors also plan on setting up their cameras on Harvard property, although they have not contacted University officials for permission.
David Rosen, director of public relations, said that he has not heard anything about "Curfew USA," adding that he would have to clear their use of any Harvard locations.
