The University Police arrested a Cambridge man for an alleged break-in at Radcliffe's graduate center after a Sunday afternoon chase through the Cambridge Common University Police Chief Saul L. Chafin said yesterday.
A student allegedly spotted Bruce Stuart wandering around the third floor of the Cronkhite Center. Chafin said He added that the student allegedly saw Stuart take $30 from a wallet.
When officers arrived at the center, located at 6 Ash St. the 35 year old man saw them and fled on foot toward the Common Officers chased him through the neighborhood and the park, eventually apprehending him on Mass Ave, near the Science Center.
Stuart was charged with breaking and entering and larceny under $100.
