Harvard Names Two New Coaches

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard named two new varsity coaches this week Jonathan P. Shattuck, a veteran member of the United States Soccer Federation, will take over as men's soccer coach and former Westwood High School Coach Kathleen Delany Smith will lead the women's basketball team.

Shattuck, a 1976 graduate of Syracuse University and an experienced coach and player replaces George Ford.

Smith, who did not play basketball while attending Bridgewater State College because the school did not field a team, compiled a 177-24 record at Westwood over 11 seasons. She replaces Carole Kleinfleder, who will continue to coach the women's lacrosse team.
