Law School Receives $100,000 Donation

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Law School has received a $100,000 gift from the Chicago law firm of Jenner and Block to establish the Edward R. Johnston Fund for the Trial Advocacy Workshop.

Income from the fund will provide support for the Edward R. Johnston Lecturers, distinguished teacher-practitioners who participate in the Workshop, an intensive three-week series given each fall and winter term.

Begun in 1975, the Workshop focuses primarily on methods of developing and presenting facts in court as well as preparing pre-trial material.

The new fund is named for Edward R. Johnston, a founding partner of Jenner and Block.
