AMHERST--Two men were convicted last month of the 1981 rape of a University of Massachusetts undergraduate and were sentenced to 18 years at a medium-security prison in Concord.
Paul F. Hackley, 18 years old, and Robert J. Smith, 19 years old, both of Hyde Park, were sentenced on charges of aggravated rape. They will be eligible for parole after two years.
