Almost 45,000 Cambridge citizens are registered to vote in today's elections, according to the city election commission.
Area politicians predict that the lack of a hotly contested at the state on local level, will keep turnout rather low about 62 percent compared with 72 percent in 1978 the last gubernatorial election.
Harvard students living in the Yard or the River Houses are registered in Ward 6. Precinet 3 and should vote at the Broadway entrance of the fire station across from Memorial Hall.
Quad residents are registered in Ward 7. Percinct 5 Polls for that area are at Peabody School. Linnaean St. Playground Entry.
About 700 Harvard and MIT students usually vote in Cambridge.
