More than 300 families of Harvard juniors arrived in Cambridge yesterday to participate in two days of tours, lectures, and receptions planned by the Harvard-Radcliffe Parents Association for Junior Parents Weekend.
The purpose of the weekend is to give parents "some connection with the College other than term bills, grades, and fundraising." Thomas E. Crooks, director of the Parents Association, said yesterday.
President Bok will address the juniors and their families today at 9:30 a.m. in Sanders Theater. Five professors will also give special lectures for the visitors today.
Otto Eckstein, Warburg Professor of Economics, who will discuss Reagan's economic policies at 2 p.m. in Sanders Theater, said yesterday, "We assume the parents are just as smart as their children. They learn slower, but they know more."
