Police have uncovered no new information in the search for Joan L. Webster, a second-year student at the Graduate School of Design who has been missing since the Saturday after Thanksgiving. University Police Chief Saul L. Chafin said last night.
Chicago police traced an Illinois driver's license which was found near Webster's pocketbook and wallet in a Saugus swamp last week, but the license did not lead to any useful information, a University spokesman said last night.
Webster was last seen November 28 in the baggage claim area at Logan Airport. She is 5-ft. 2-in. tall, weighs 122 pounds, has brown eyes and hair, and was last seen wearing a long brown coat, a black skirt, and a red blouse.
Chafin said that anyone with information which might help locate Webster should contact the state police at 887-2381, the Saugus police at 233-1212 or the University police at 495-1212.
