South House administrators yesterday began questioning Barnard Hall residents about a fire which they believe someone set on the building's roof Wednesday night.
Dr. Warren E. C. Wacker, South House Master, and Nancy Maull, South House Senior Tutor, said yesterday they have found no evidence yet to prove who started the fire late Wednesday night by lighting a telephone book and throwing it on the roof.
"It's premature to say that a student was responsible for the fire." Maull said.
Greg D. Luther '82, a Barnard Hall resident, said yesterday that Maull and Wacker urged students to "spread the word that if the perpetrator would come forward, things would go easier for him in front of the Ad Board."
