Singers to Choose Associate Director For Choral Groups

By Karyn E. Esielonis

The Radcliffe Choral Society will audition four candidates next week for the position of associate director of choral activities and RCS conductor.

The choral group will recommend one of the candidates to Jameson Marvin, recently appointed director of choral activities, by May 1.

Marvin, who will replace F. John Adams '66 next fall, will make the final decision on the associate choral director.

Priscilla Chapman '67, current director of the RCS, is among the four finalists.

Although the positions is an administrative post and carries no teaching duties, Cami Edlund '79, president of the RCS, said she hoped the new associate director will also take the responsibility for Collegium Musicum and the Harvard Glee Club as well as the RCS.

Chapman works only with the RCS.
