Closer to home, Beth Soll and Company will perform "Clearfield," a silent dance opera that was presented earlier this spring at the Institute for Contemporary Dance, in the Agassiz House living room on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. It's free, and good, so get three early.
The Ukranian American Youth Association Dance Group is dancing at 3:30 p.m. on July 10 at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, Ma., which would be a nice thing for people in the intensive Ukranian studies program to consider--although maybe they shouldn't go, as sources say the classes are really tough.
For people interested in a more general perspective on dance, there's the Rosalind Newman and Dancers modern dance company from New York outside at Fresh Pond Park, July 9 at 7 p.m. (July 10 if the Saturday date is rained out.) Free.
