Adolph W. Samborski Dies

Adolph W. Samborski '25, former Harvard football coach and athletic director died Thursday at the age of 73 in a York, Maine hospital.

The funeral mass for Samborski, who was athletic director from 1962 until his retirement in 1971, is scheduled for 10 a.m. today at St. Christopher by the Sea Church in New York.

Robert B. Watson '37, former Harvard athletic director, said yesterday that he felt very, very bad about Samborski's death, adding that Samborski was a fine director of athletics and a credit to Harvard College.
