The growing sex scandal on Capital Hill is but the tip of the Washington iceberg.
Conflicts of interest, abuses of privilege, corrupt campaign practices, and "junketeering" have for too long been tolerated by the Congressional leadership, while the critical problems facing this neation remain unsolved.
When the Watergate scandal rocked the Republican Administration, a Special Prosecutor was appointed to bring the offenders to justice.
The Democrat-controlled Congress clearly has failed to police itself. Therefore, we should demand that a Special Prosecutor again be appointed, in this case to investigate and prosecute Congressional wrongdoing, and thereby to clean House. Steve Nelson
