Martin McPeth, Harvard Senior, Dies of Cancer

Martin C, McPeth '76, a resident of Somerville, Mass. and a concentrator in Social Studies, dies of cancer Tuesday evening. He was 21 years old.

A graduate of Boston College High School, McPeth was a member of Citizens for Participation in Politics and the Somerville Community Newsletter.

Despite a long illness, McPeth excelled in academics and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa as a junior.

John R. Marquand, Senior Tutor of Dudley House, said that McPeth was "a serious student of great promise," who had intended to participate in a combined program of law and philosophy upon graduation.

Visiting hours at Cataldo Funeral Home will be held Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Ann's Church in Somerville on Saturday May 22, at 10:00 a.m.
