Radcliffe undergraduates interested in scientific careers may apply for a new series of Radcliffe-DuPont Summer Internships, President Horner announced Thursday.
Judith Walzer, director of the Office of Women's Education and chairman of the Faculty committee that will choose the grant recipients, said yesterday that "the grants give Radcliffe the opportunity to encourage women in the sciences, to make them feel confirmed in what they can do in a variety of fields."
The internships will allow Radcliffe freshmen, sophomores and juniors to apply for five grants of $750 each to do independent scientific research this summer on a topic of their choice.
