Workmen have completed repairs on two of the four Union dorms in response to student complaints made recently to the Buildings and Grounds department.

Rosario Scialabba, supervisor of facilities, yesterday said maintenance crews have made all the minor structural repairs requested by Greenough and Hurlbut residents in a list of complaints submitted to his office last February.

While the department has already attended to chipped plaster and broken windows, Scialabba said painting and other major repairs could not get underway until the end of the semester.

Some students, however, have not noticed any improvement in their living conditions, "I just can't see that anything's been done," Aaron J. Alter '79, a Hurlbut resident, said yesterday.

Students in Pennypacker and 8 Prescott St., the other two Union dorms, submitted a similar list of complaints to the department last week.

Scialabba said workers should complete repairs on these dorms by the end of next week.
